In...
..today's world, the computer have become a crushial part in my daily routines. The interest for computers hasn't actually been going
on for that long period of time, but it has been intense. In my younger years I was more dedicated to pure video game consoles like the NES. But friends of mine owned different systems and I unavoidably
came in contact with the C64, Spectrum Sinclair, Amiga 500 and not to forget, my schools old Compis system.
So what do I do with my computer(s)? That is actually a very good question and one that I had to pounder really hard about before I came up with some sort of an
answer.
The computer is mainly a tool I use to do my daily routines; like reading the news, visiting my bank, paying my bills (not the funniest moments..) and stuff like
that. But it is also my partner in crime (figure of speech only, promise..) when I want to play games, edit films and construct an Internet homepage like this one. Many
of these things could be done without the old grey tin-can but it would take longer, be more expensive (like I got the computer for free..) and be more of an
inconvenient then it is today. And as I sit here and write these words maybe the best thing about the computer and the thing I use it most for is brought to my
attention; keeping in contact with long distance friends. So in just a few minutes I have now justified my addicted use of computers. That wasn't bad, was it? So
this leaves us with a description of the computers I use on a daily basis:
